For institutions
kktcanket.com is a data company that measures what people in North Cyprus think, district by district and municipality by municipality: an online panel, telephone (CATI) and face-to-face (CAPI) interviews, weighting by district, age and gender, and a published method on every release.
We do not run party-commissioned vote-intention research. What we measure is everyday life: service satisfaction, the cost of living, brand and institution approval, visitor and student experience.
Municipalities and public bodies
The 18 municipalities, the Union of Municipalities, ministries, regulators.
The gapNo municipality or ministry publishes a regular citizen-satisfaction measure. The amended Municipalities Law asks newly elected mayors to produce a strategic plan within 12 months, and a plan needs data.
A neighbourhood-level baseline of service satisfaction and an annual repeat; tables that go straight into the strategic plan.
A repeated district-level measure for hospitals, electricity, water, transport and e-government services.
Face-to-face exit surveys at the airport, ports, hospitals and public offices; field team and reporting included.
Proposals are sized to the direct-purchase and negotiated-procedure limits of the Public Procurement Law; the registrations and clearances public procurement requires are supplied with the proposal.
Banks, operators, retail and media
Locally owned banks, mobile and internet operators, supermarket chains, food producers, property developers, media groups.
The gapNo customer-satisfaction, NPS, brand-health or audience measure has ever been published in North Cyprus. Every company knows only its own customers; nobody measures the whole market.
The awareness → consideration → usage funnel, with competitors, compared across waves.
One shared measure for banks, operators and supermarkets; each subscriber gets its own detailed cut, the league table stays anonymous.
Questions added to the monthly KKTC Nabzı wave, with results private to you.
Fast tests on the panel; store and branch visits by our field team.
Starts with a discovery call; invoicing in TL, EUR or GBP.
Hotels, tourism and the airport
Hotel and casino groups, KITOB, KITSAB, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ercan operator, airlines.
The gapArrivals are counted but nobody is asked a question: there is no exit survey, no guest-satisfaction benchmark and no spend data. Why occupancy does not follow passenger growth is not measured.
Quarterly face-to-face surveys at Ercan and the ports: source market, accommodation, spend, satisfaction, intention to return.
A shared NPS measure for hoteliers’ association members; each hotel sees its own score and its anonymous rank.
How residents see tourism and casinos, district by district, published on the map.
Structured so that the ministry, the operator and airlines can co-fund it.
Civil society, chambers, unions and universities
Associations and foundations, EU-funded projects, chambers of commerce and industry, trade unions, universities.
The gapSmall organisations have no data budget; the chambers’ business survey has not been renewed for years; universities do not track student and graduate experience systematically.
Baseline/endline evaluations, needs assessments and knowledge-attitude-practice studies for grant projects; English report and data file.
A quarterly telephone survey of chamber members on an internationally comparable scale.
Member surveys for unions and chambers; multilingual student-experience and graduate tracking for universities.
Room for even a single question; fits the smallest budget.
Scaled to the research lines in grant budgets; joint publication is possible.
Embassies and international organisations
Diplomatic missions, EU programmes and technical-assistance contractors, UN agencies, development banks, foundations, international research agencies.
The gapThere are very few fieldwork partners in the north, and bicommunal and regular measures have been intermittent.
CATI and CAPI capacity in all six districts, back-checking, documented process; the Turkish Cypriot community leg of international studies.
Equal-n designs, harmonised Turkish/English instruments, weighted data, English report and SPSS file.
Baseline, midline and endline measures for programme indicators.
We take part in calls and framework contracts as a subcontractor; English documentation is provided.
How we work
- On every release: who funded it, n, mode, fieldwork dates, weighting and margin of error.
- Weighting by district, age and gender to the Statistics Institute’s population projections.
- A region is shown only with enough answers; nothing is ever shared per person.
- Political opinion is special-category data: separate explicit consent, verified members only, no publication during the election blackout. We do not run party-commissioned vote-intention work.
- Open data: aggregate indicators can be downloaded with a method note.
For research partners
We offer the Turkish Cypriot community leg of international studies: CATI and CAPI capacity across all six districts, harmonised Turkish/English instruments, equal-n bicommunal designs with a southern partner of your choice, back-checking, documented consent under Law 89/2007, weighted SPSS/CSV deliverables and English reporting. Write to us in English.
Prices depend on sample, mode and frequency. Let us start with a discovery call.
